Privacy Policy

Lake360 ("we", "our", "the app") is operated by CAVU CONSULTING LLC. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Data We Collect

Account information (optional). If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple user identifier and, at your discretion, your email address or an Apple relay email. We store this to manage your account and purchased passes.

Purchase records. When you buy a Lake Pass through Apple In-App Purchase, we record the product purchased, transaction identifier, purchase date, and expiration date. This lets us grant and verify your lake access across devices.

Custom spots. If you save custom points of interest (My Lake spots), we store the name, category, and coordinates you provide so they sync across your devices.

Device location (optional). The app may request your location to center the map on your position. Location data is used on-device only and is never sent to our servers or stored.

Usage analytics. We do not currently collect analytics, crash reports, or usage telemetry. If this changes, we will update this policy.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not track your location history.
• We do not use advertising identifiers or serve ads.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• We do not use cookies or web tracking on the app.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Account management: Sign-in, session tokens, linking purchases to your account.
• Entitlement verification: Checking that your Lake Pass is valid and granting access to paid lakes.
• Syncing saved spots: Storing your custom POIs so they appear when you sign in on another device.

4. Third-Party Services

Lake360 uses the following third-party services:

• Apple Sign In: For authentication. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Apple In-App Purchase: For Lake Pass transactions. Payments are processed entirely by Apple.
• Apple MapKit JS: For map display. Subject to Apple's terms.
• Apple WeatherKit: For weather data. No user data is shared with this service.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any advertising networks.

5. Data Storage and Security

Account data and purchase records are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Vercel's infrastructure in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and access is restricted to authenticated API endpoints.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and purchase data for as long as your account exists. Purchase records are kept for audit and customer support purposes. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the app (My Lake > My Passes > Delete Account) or by contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

Lake360 is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

You may:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
• Sign out at any time, which removes your session from the device.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
